Types of Boiler Heating Elements
- Flange Type Heaters
In flange type heaters, the heating element is mounted on a flange made of MS or Stainless Steel which is typically conforms to standard pipe flange sizes such as ANSI, DIN. One or more tubular heating elements are housed with terminal enclosure. - Screwplug Type Heaters
In screwplug Type Heaters, the heating element is mounted on a threaded screwplug basically made of Brass, MS or Stainless Steel with BSP or NPT threads which allows for easy installation into a threaded opening on the tank or vessel wall.
